Riding4Research Day 16, Muncho Lake > Tetsa River, BC 77 miles

A short uphill and a long downhill in the morning and a long uphill and a short downhill in the afternoon. I pushed up right over the spine of the Rockies with tired legs, on a wilting 3 hour climb on a rough road.

The scenery was outstanding and the wildlife abundant!…sheep, caribou, even a black bear right outside my tent when I woke this morning.

I should not be surprised by how similar this area looks to the highest peaks of the Rockies, all the day I was envisioning a bike ride through some of the mountain passes in Colorado. Fortunately the elevation here is not that high!
